Our society has the increasing need to respond to the care needs required by health issues related to chronicity, dependency, mental health, gender inequalities in health and critical situations of people who suffer them and their caregivers (relatives and people around them).
For this reason, the Consolidated Advanced Nursing Research Group (CARING) was created, also officially known as the Consolidated Research Group: Advanced Nursing SGR 161 (CARING). The aim of the group is to train quality researchers and specialists in Nursing Sciences. It is framed in the Research and Innovation plan (2014/2016), especially in the points that make reference to:
- Boosting the university system
- The centres and facilities that are currently in need of research
- Advanced and high-quality development
