Coordinator of the Nursing and Health Doctorate Programme at the URV.
Director of 22 PhD theses related to different aspects of nursing care in the field of family caregivers, chronicity and Mental Health. This work has been possible with the collaboration and joint work with nurses from the Nursing Department of several Spanish Universities: URV, UB, EISJD, EI Blanquerna, EI Gembernat, etc. and professors from other countries such as: University of Porto, Lisbon, Sao Paulo (Brazil) etc. and with nursing professionals from the different care centers of the Region in the field of Primary Care, Hospital and Mental Health.
In 2019, she received the 2019 Josep Trueta Medal and the Award for the best professional career awarded by the Nursing College of Tarragona. In 2024 the recognition of honorary member of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Enfermagem de Saùde Mental for the promotion of nursing in Portuguese Mental Health.
IP of two Competitive projects Financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, Institute of Health Carlos III and Feder Fund. FIS projects related to informal caregiver care (PI 07 / 0489- PI16 / 01576). Participation in other competitive projects as a member of the AGAUR research team and evaluator in different calls for research.
She has published more than 100 articles indexed in the JCR and book chapters, as well as different books, including: Author of 5 nursing books.
Research lines: Family caregivers of the chronically ill, Positive Mental Health, Depression and Family, Psychosocial Nursing.
